Improving and enhancing virtual environments for training and education. We are looking at how subjects react to and perceive risky situations between real world settings, and in simulated environments. It is known that the more natural and realistic people react to simulated situations in virtual environments, the more complete and effective the training experience. By better understanding perceptual differences of dangerous and risk actions between the real-world and simulation we hope to improve such training experiences.
