Postdoc Position, HCI and Training in Virtual Environments
May 1, 2011 – 10:18 amWe are seeking a postdoc with a background in Computer Science and an interest in Cognitive Science. Candidates with research interests in virtual environments, human computer interaction (HCI), teleoperation, robotics and remotely operated vehicles, embodied cognition, and human computer interaction are highly desirable. Salary is competitive and negotiable. Other opportunities for concurrent teaching within the Department of Computer Science may exist.
Texas A & M - Commerce is the second largest University in the A & M system, has branch campuses in and around the Dallas Metroplex, and anticipates substantial student growth. The City of Commerce itself is a lovely small-town situated near popular outdoor recreational areas, and just one hour from Dallas.
